Thanks for the info. Looking at the website using Yahoo translation has
pictures and a brief write up of the conversion showing only the half-shafts
without the hubs. It does not show or discuss the outer hub and bearing
assembly. 1380 euros ($1832 US) is a lot just for both half shafts if it
doesn't include the hubs. Maybe the hubs are purchased in addition to the
shafts? I've emailed them for clarification. I hope someone speaks/reads
english. :-)
The Moss price list shows the drive shaft AND hubs being replaced for ?546 each
side or $1033 US. That's not too bad considering it includes the hub assembly.
A rebuilt hub is commonly found for $275-$300, and new half shafts don't exist,
or are very hard to come by.
I'd love not to replace ujoints again. I wonder if they have a propeller shaft
conversion?
