Dean, if you particularly don't want steel (which is actually terne coated,
giving it good corrosion resistance if the coating isn't abraded), you might try
checking with the various UK vendors like Moss UK, Rimmers, etc. They generally
sell brake pipes in "Cunifer" which is a soft copper/nickel/iron alloy very
popular in Europe. It's also easier to bend to shape than steel.
