Make sure the surfaces are clean and flat, the alignment pins are in place and the studs are coated with anti-seize. Be sure to replace all the lockwashers. Although the book doesn't show it, I like to add a heavy flat washer under the lockwasher for the fore and aft studs. It seems to help prevent exhaust leaks. Randall Y |
