As some of you already know, I am in the middle of a restoration project
on my 58 TR3A TS27093, and my question is,
after talking to a few folks about my plan to leave the stub shaft and 4
blade fan off when I install the freshly rebuilt motor.
Will the electric fan (placed in front of the radiator with the nose
shroud) be sufficient to keep the motor cool?
I have the Revington connector pipe with a temp on/off swith that is
threaded into that pipe in order to operate the fan, but I am getting
vibes that I should have a much heavier duty fan, and that it should be
placed on the motor side of the radiator.
The radiator has been re-cored, so I am starting with a sound radiator.
I am also told that there is a 6 blade impellor that I should consider
for the water pump. (by the way where do I get it?)
I would apprecite all of your comments and recommendations. I really
don't want to take the nose off once I put it back on.
And if any of you are going to holler at me let's keep it down, Okay....????
Thanks in advance
Tony
PS: this will be the first of numerous questions I'm sure, as I soon (I
hope) begin to SLOWLY put it all back together.
