Or you could make your own thermo switch.

Use a hot light switch from a 60's to 90's GM ( 1/2 or 3/8 pipe) Ford ( 3/8 ) 
or Chrysler ( 1/4 or 1/8 ). I use a adjusted GM switch on my pickup to give a 
early warning and retained the gauge for a actual reading.

To adjust a GM switch, scrape the paint away from the adjusting screw and 
turn clockwise for a lower temp.

A Ford and Chrysler switch is adjusted by turning the terminal. 

A sender from a gauge car will not work.
