I could be wrong, but I suspect that the person who sent this out was in
turn scammed by someone else. They've probably answered one of those "How
to make a million dollars in your spare time" ads, and are just following
the instructions. The mixed case in the spam seems to support that, the
all-caps stuff is the boilerplate and the names were filled in later.
In any case, it costs essentially nothing to send these to millions of
people, so if only 1 in 10,000,000 respond, it's still a money-making
venture ...
