Silly boy, those are the jack holes. The jack fits through the hole
and connects to a frame tab to lift the side of the car up. Comes in
handy if you should ever have a flat away from a big floor jack.
If you do hard wood floors, don't forget to do a removable strip over
the flange for the gearbox tunnel. You do not want to have to rip up
the floor to get to the gearbox.
