Well, from the pictures, it looks like it IS a TR4A engine mostly. The intake
manifold and carbs seem right. I could not tell completely on the "top" view
about carb details, but they look right. I could not tell about the PCV
regulator either. The contrast in that photo was pretty drastic.
The pipe coming up and out of the head where the thermostat usually has a
housing is funny looking and is not a typical TR4 or 4A style. Other than
this, I do not see any obvious non-TR4A items....
The only other CAR that I know of which used these engines was, what, Morgan?
I would not have expected such a high mount on the radiator for the hose, but
maybe. What about AGRICULTURAL machines? A Ferguson?
