Well my Tr3A made it home from Tahoe without a problem. I parked it in
the garage and let it sit for two days. Tueday evening I went out to
drive it to dinner and I had no clutch. Don't panic this is not a
Triumph problem. I have a hydraulic throwout bearing and there was
brake fliud puddled under the bell housing.
Thus my winter tear down is going to begin earlier that I had planned.
I have a number of things I plan to improve /correct this winter.
Amoung them is replacing the steering with a REvington R/P. While I am
in the front end I am thinking I should switch to the TR4 upper A arms.
Any comments on the bebefits or defficiencies of this conversion?
Also, I have a TR4 steering column. I wonder if those out there with
TR4s are interested in a bearing kit that would eliminate the wobble in
the steering shaft and the horn honking in corners?
