Yep. And it probably sat out in some person's driveway or back yard or
storage lot for a decade or two, and if anyone stopped by to ask about buying
it while it was still restorable, the fellow said something like "No way I'm
gonna
sell it, I'll restore it any day now and it will be worth big bucks! I'll
never get
rid of my baby!"
At least now it won't bring too many tears to my eye when I take the Sawzall to
the carcass.
So it goes.
To tell the truth, I have a TR6 that I started to restore in July of 1987, and
haven't touched since August of 1987. At least mine is inside, out of the
weather, and I
did get the rust cut out and repaired before stashing it away. I'll restore it
any day
now and it will be worth big bucks ;-)
