I'll attest to that! I had my TR6 shocks rebuilt and paid extra for the
"Heavy Duty" option. The shocks were still underdamped. The TR3 had a
nicely controlled ride (although a bit stiff*) and I have no complaints
(since I don't race it (you don't race a car with 48 spoke wheels)). With
the tube shock conversion, I now have a TR3 style ride in a TR6. The best
of both worlds. :-|
