the diff is moving around when rocking the car and the squeak is prominent.
 I
can feel a crack going across the bottom of the diff bracket, thrust side.

Can anyone provide me with some cheese with my whine? Dang it!<

Darrell, misery loves company. I have a crack in my TR6 diff mount, too.
But I drive it anyway. And I just got the alignment set (after installing
Ted's springs) and boy what a difference that makes (the alignment I mean)
(well, Ted's springs, too). But no sooner do I get that set that I find I
have a tire belt separating.

It's always something.

Dave

P.S. And the TR8 has ants!
