If the interior of the liner is chipped, it could be reused with a 90* turn
and some chamfering of the edge. If the gasket area is damaged, reuse would
not be a good idea.
Have the liner maged, there might be other areas cracked but still intact.
The reason turning the liner 90* works is because the piston skirts only rub
the liner 90* to the crank. The front and back of the piston barely ( if at
all ) touch the liner, any contact will also be much higher than the end of the
liner. ( the piston is cut on a oval with the pin sides smaller than the
skirt side )
