I have a NOS unmarked Cam wheel and a very good second hand crank wheel for my engine rebuild. Do I really need to go through the procedures in the workshop manual for un marked wheels to set up the valve timing or is it safe to just copy the position of the marks on the original wheels over to the new ones and use these to establish the correct layout.
