Re: gearbox removal
I have found three articles.
Two have a picture of a lifting frame for these gearboxes and the third has a
brilliant suggestion, which is to remove the two locating studs in the back of
the gearbox and then temporarily replace them with longer 4 inch studs which
will take the weight of the gearbox whilst it is being mated with the clutch.

Hmm I am hoping that I have not bent the input shaft when I refitted the
gearbox.
Has anyone bent their input shaft whilst installing their gearbox or had
experience of a bent input shaft?
What would the symptoms be?
