Questions:
Is there a list on-line where I could look up serial numbers and find out
what engines I've got? (i.e. TR4 or 4A)
How would I find out what they are worth? I would like to sell one at
least, either parts or whole.
History:
A guy came up to me at college one day, 25 years ago, and asked me if I
wanted to buy the two engines he had in his garage for $125. He needed
money like all students but I had just rebuilt my engine from scratch so
wasn't interested. His last offer, to deliver and help move them into my
shed for $25 couldn't be refused. I was right though, I didn't need them.
My Mom died so I had to move them last year. They were drained of fluifs
when I got them and are corrosion free - very greasy, never cleaned. Still,
after 25 years, Bluebell's engine is starting to smoke again so maybe I
better hang onto one of them...
