In this case, Mark doesn't really have anything to do with it. In short: the machine that hosted the website got very severely hacked. Efforts to do something less than a complete wipe and reformat/reload were not enough to prevent it from being re-hacked. The machine was in a colo cross-country from the person maintaining it, so doing the data recovery and reload wasn't really possible ... Last I heard, the machine was leaving the colo to where it can be operated on. |
