My solution for the exhaust system on my '72 Spitfire will be to go to my
local exhuast shop and have them fabricate a "monza style" dual tip system
using a pair of small Flowmaster mufflers. I figure 2.25 or 2.5 inch pipe
from maifold to the rear of floorboard, "Y" off to a pair of Flowmasters,
out the center back to a chrome dual tip.
