I picked up a 1954 TR2 RHD recently and the sheet metal is pretty bad in many
areas, including all the fenders. The sheet metal alone would be very
expensive to replace and the need for purchasing a welder and learning how to
weld. I
know The Roadster Factory sells new steel bodies for I believe 10K. My
question is, would I be better off buying a new body or just buying the
replacement
panels and is the car worth the cost of restoring it? I'd hate to give up on
this project before I even get started, plus I bought probably over 2K in parts
for it. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.
TIA,
Joe Calandriello
