The engine was co-developed by Renault and Volvo. It is both a Volvo AND
Renault engine. At least that is what I was told when I was looking for a
Delorean. I'm not sure however that any Renault's were sold here (you know the
US, where else is here?-not the US is somewhere else) with that engine, and
finding a Renault expert in the states seems like it would be difficult. Any
Renault or Volvo mechanic should be able to work on it, but avoid a dealer,
find and independant shop that specializes in Volvo's or Renault's. Dealers
only like to work on their own brand....
