The other day I read an article about the recent Barrett-Jackson Auction
(HYPERLINK "http://www.barrettjackson.com"http://www.barrettjackson.com) in
Scottsdale and there were 3 Austin Healy 3000's being sold by Kurt Tanner. I
guess Kurt is well known for his "perfect" Healy restoration work. His work
must be awfully good as the 1965 sold for $70,200 and the 1964 went for
$59,400. But the best part of the article was about the 3rd Healy he had
there to sell. It was parked behind a Lamborghini Countach and when the
Lambo owner started it up, it was in reverse! Crunch.... one less Healy to
sell that day. Luckily the Lambo owner was insured as Tanner said he's not
covered when he takes cars to auction. Go figure.

The best Triumph could do was a 1976 TR6 that went for $17,280.... not too
shabby.
