Regarding PI: what about the 3 screws for adjusting the fuel curve on the PI
metering unit?

Oh, delight! Those three innocent-looking little screws. Obviously
flagellism is your hobby - or do you just have time on your hands?
Now I'll note:
First off there are actually five screws you must be concerned with, the three
on top (A1, A2 and A3), the full throttle and cold start screw both of which
are on the engine side of the metering unit. The way the metering unit is built
is is VERY difficult to adjust the full throttle and cold start screws with the
metering unit on the engine but it can be done.
If you have an exhaust gas oxygen sensor those five screws can be adjusted to
improve the performance of the PI system. A fully calibrated system MAY work
well for sea level, however, for those of us at altitude or with modified
engine internals the stock calibration is worthless.

Hope this helps
