*might* fit. However, proper wheel diameter, backspacing, caliper

What's wrong with stock TR6 wheels then ?
Except of course the little problem that if you have wire wheels now, then
your wheel studs are the short versions designed only for the wire wheel
adapter and special nuts. A standard nut will not have enough thread
engagement, so create the potential for stripping the stud (and losing the
wheel). And the steel wheels are not strong enough to use with the smaller
special nuts, creating the potential for the nut to pull through the wheel
and once again, allow the wheel to part company from the car.
The solution some have used is to install proper steel wheel studs (which
are longer) and then use a spacer when mounting the wire wheel adapter.
