Depends on a lot of things, including how close the commission numbers are.
There were at least 3 distinct tonneau patterns used on the TR3A, they don't
interchange well at all. And, from what I've seen, there wasn't a great
deal of consistency in stud location from car to car even within the range
(pre-60K anyway, later cars might be better). But if the donor car falls in
the same general range as yours, you can probably get most of the snaps to
work. (Assuming of course that no one has been moving snaps around on
either car.)
