Randall,

I have used Mink Oil on boots and shoes.  It works well and if you rub
it in completely the surface is no more slick than when you start.  It
will seal the seams also.  It usually softens the leather some, but
glove leather is pretty soft to start.  I buy it at a shoe repair shop.
