Yep!.......think it's the lock washers, expanding and contracting with that
sharp edge that are backing the brass nuts off!!!
'67 TR4A shows steel nuts and lock washers...........(I have no problems)
'67 Jag XKE 4.2 shows "special nuts (brass)" and plain washers......(I have
no problems)
'64 Ford Econoline Van 170 Engine.....Brass and plain.......(I have no
problems)
I like the brass..........they don't seize with the 'gaff' of
heating-cooling......
