If the knurl on the studs is the same diameter as the knurl on the 7/16
studs on a TR6, you could upgrade to ARP 12mm wheel studs (3" long) that are
originally intended for Late model Chevy Corvettes and Camaros. ARP P/N
100-7708 "12mm x 1.50 Late Model GM WSK". These will press into TR6 hubs
without re-drilling the holes. Of course, most any stud upgrade means that
you'll have to ditch your stock lugnuts (if that's a consideration).

Subject: Re: TR8 & Spitfire Wheel stud size
The stock stud diameter on a Spitfire or GT6 is 3/8" - it is fairly simple
to "upgrade" to 7/16" so it MIGHT be possible to put 12mm studs in (is that
really the size the TR7 and TR8 are?).
