Actually Lubbock is 2000 miles from anywhere else.  ;-)

Seriously, DFW is pretty close to St. Louis, Kansas City, Little Rock, New
Orleans, and Tulsa.  But El Paso, that's another storey.  El Paso is noly
close to Roswell.
