I always use them for replacement........don't think I was graded down in a
VTR Concours show for them.....but then that was some years ago.........they
polish up nice on your buffing wheel and are not prone to rust, eh?......and
when you want to dismantle something........no problem!!! Just a few cents
more........but I guess when you are building thousands at the
factory..........each fastener saves a penny.....so it adds up to several
thousands of dollars
over a years production for them..........I would be glad to pay $20 extra for
my car than to have the rust.........I guess they don't look at it that
way.........BTW......when I replace something, + the SS I always use some
antisieze.......then when I take it off again, maybe some years later, I always
know I've
been there before!............<g>.........
