Jim, Wehen I rebuilt my seats, I didn't replace any springs, so I can't help you there. I did, however, purchase some ash strip material (1/4 x 1-1/2) and steam bent it to conform to the inside back of the seat pan. As I recall there were also some semicircular shapes in the seat pan base. These parts were then rivetted to the seat pan so that you could have something to staple the cover to. Bob Stahlbush |
