If any of you book writing or magazine article writing types are doing a
book on restorations or an article on same, I am in the first stages of a
full frame off resto of a 1960 Ford Fairlane- so big a car, it was actually
in violation of some states auto size limits! I am now at the body off
phase- I have lifted the body completely clear of the frame, and will be
starting the frame resto shortly. I figure it is a great time to start
gathering needed photos to accompany any such articles and such, and figured
I'd put out a note in case any one was interested. I'll be taking my own
progress pics, of course, but decided to invite anyone needing pics to avail
themselves of the opportunity. Compensation may be offered and discussed as
necessary... ;)
(The body is high enough off the frame that, but for about 3" altitude, I
could roll the nose of the Herald under it! And I need that same 3" to clear
the high spot of the frame under the low spot of the footwells. Might just
have a neat pic anyway!)
Contact me off list if interested.
