I'm removing and rechroming the windscreen components from my '61 TR3A
(commission #TS67947L), and I've got a few questions. My windscreen stanchions
are
of the screw-on type, not use the d-zus.

1. My windscreen did not have "corner finisher plates" as shown in the
Moss catalog. Should these be included for my windscreen?

2. I also did not have a "center windscreen support bracket." Where do
these go? Do I need them (or should I use them)?

3. What's the proper way to cut and finish off the ends of the sealing
rubber at the top of the windscreen? The ends of mine were sliced downward at
an
angle and held in place by the top of the tenon plates.

4. What's the proper procedure for finishing off the ends of the lower
sealing rubber? should they be cut before attaching the windscreen to the car,
or after?

5. What is used for "glazing" on the window? Anyone have experience with
the product sold by Moss?

5. Lastly, what are the best sources of DIY information and/or pix for
this job?

I'm about to send out the frame and stanchions for rechroming. I'd love any
last-minute advice on successful rechroming of these particular parts.

Many thanks for the help!
