The thermometer read 27 degrees at 8:15 this morning when I cranked the TR
up from its resting spot in the garage. Today was the day for the annual
Polar Bear Run, and when I pulled into the parking lot of the rendezvous
spot, there were cars everywhere. One of the great things about the Polar
Bear Run is that it's not just Triumphs - there were representatives from
Britain, Germany, Italy, the U.S., and probably a few others. All told,
there were close to 100 cars awaiting the run. We covered a large part of
the North Georgia Mountains and ended up with a tour of Dick Barbour
Racing's garage.
Thanks to all who came out for the event - it was a blast - and we invite
any of our brethren within a short driving distance to join us next year.
Cheers, and Happy New Year,
R. Ashford Little II
