GT-6 Torque and H.P.

I'm at the machine shop stage in my GT-6 engine
rebuild. I would really appreciate any help that you
would want to provide on things that you did or didn't
do when building your engine in regard to power and 
performance. I'm particularly interested in the
carburetor and exhaust options that seemed to work
will together. This engine will be mainly street use.
Real exotic adds on I'm just not into.
