List virus?

I reveived this morning a message with the subject line, "RE: TR 250
Front spring removal."

I assumed it was a list message and opened it.  This message has a
return aaddress that is not referenced to the list.  I realised in time
that there was a photo attached and that our list strips photos so it
cannot be a list message.  

My virus scanner posted an alert this morning too.
