Subject: | Water Pump Grease Fitting Missing |

I've looked everywhere on the waterpump on my '61 TR3A and cannot find a grease fitting. With my finger, I can feel a flat spot on the underside of the pump flange, almost as if the pump was cast to have a grease fitting drilled at that location. But the location, at 12 o'clock relative to the pump shaft, would be an impossible location. Any explanation on why there's no grease fitting? Are any of these units "permanently lubed"? Many thanks!
