Jim, I just want to comment that IMO, it's most unlikely that your wiring harness is to blame for your generator failure. Since the generator is regulated for both current and voltage, about all a bad connection or corroded wire can do is cause it to not charge the battery adequately. The load on the generator will actually be less, making it last longer ! Had someone been 'adjusting' your control box a few months before the failure ? Randall |
