TR3 body mounting questions

Listers,

I'm in the process of trying to fasten the body to the frame on my 
TR3 vintage racer.  I have TRFs complete TR3 body mounting kit 
but am somewhat at loss as to where to begin.  Currently there are 
no mounting pads, shims or rubber of any kind between the body 
and the frame.

What I'm trying to figure out is where to start and how to make sure 
I'm doing it right.  

Any thoughts or been there done that's....?!!
