Randall:

Apple Hydraulics (800-882-7753) in Calverton, NY rebuilt the Lockheed master
cylinder on my TR2 in July of 2001 for a cost of $165. The transformation
from a hunk of rust to the finished product was amazing. When I first
received and installed, there was a lot of seepage under the lid and no
matter what type or thickness of gasket I tried, I couldn't stem the
seepage. I called to complain and was told to return for the rebuilder had
failed to install a baffle over the return port that was spraying the
underside of the lid. Once that was done, I have had no seepage. Glad that
I listened to you about using Dot 5 or the paint under the cylinder would
have been a mass of wrinkled paint.
