A friend of ours has a 1970 Mk3 spit for sale. Its a project car in that its mostly in pieces right now. There is some rust on the tub but overall its in pretty decent shape. Its about 99% complete. It has a rolling chassis that has been partically restored. The seller would like to get $500 out of the car. Location is in east Dallas area. Contact me if you have any interest.
