> Don't forget the torque reaction from the engine which is equal in > magnitude but opposite in direction. The net effect is zero > except for the amount of chassis twist. Not true, the engine is making far less torque than is being applied to the halfshafts. It's multiplied by both the gears in the transmission, and the gears in the differential. Randall |
