Sorry list, I was too quick on the trigger.
The engine flow calculator at: http://www.carbs.net/calc.asp also gives 205
CFM for a Mildly Built Motor at 5000 rpm, 224 CFM for a Race Motor and 241 CFM
for a Full Race Motor.
A search for SU carburetor flow rates gives this page:
http://www.mgbmga.com/tech/mgb19.htm which also deals with Webers and air
filters, and gives SU flow rates as Carb CFM Flow Rate
HS4 142
*HIF4 No data given
HS6 210
HIF6 240
It's a MudGrunter page, but there you go :-)
And this page: http://www.rebelloracing.com/prod03.htm refers to a mod to
increase SU airflow from 250 CFM to 365 CFM.
For a different reason, I contacted Burlen Fuel Systems (who have the SU
rights now) a couple of years ago and asked for flow rates. At that time they
said they didn't measure or quote them (go figure).
Hope this helps.
