Randall et al, I get it! I understand how the tension, pulley and fan hub are supposed to be. I am about to put the fan back on and everything is tight! No slop in the hub, all of the dots line up and the crank bolt is secured with a little loctite for insurance. The chain with the tensioner on it has a little slack on the opposite side. Could this explain the hard time I have been having getting a consistant idle? David Templeton '59tr3a |
