And the adventure continues...

Off comes the chain and hanging it on a screw driver along with the new one,
the old is hanging almost a full 1/2" longer. Is this normal or has the
chain stretched? Ths last time I saw this was in my dodge pickup and once
replaced ran soooo much better.
