Update if interested. I changed my 90 wt gear oil to 30 wt non-detergent oil
and put a couple of washers under the relief spring in an effort to raise the
pump engagement pressure right? 7 miles and poof the exact same thing, no more
engagement and no reaction to manually engaging the solenoid lever to lift the
ball etc. So, do I have a bad pump plunger body or a leaking non-return valve?
If you installed a gauge to monitor the operation, what would one expect to
read and how to differentiate between the two possible failures? Come on, one
of you guys has done this right? I think I'm going to patent Triumph zippers
so we can get in and out of doghouses and tr3 front nose assemblies, any
takers?
