There is another Triumph Forum here:
http://www.britishcarforum.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?action=intro
If all of us make it a point to join and post a nagging question or a reply,
maybe we can get this one off the ground. (And/or the Totally Triumph Forum
as well).
I read lots of automotive forums and enjoy the format. I've found at least
one for every car I've owned recently. Of course, I also really enjoy the
email list concept, too. I can't say which is better. They both have there
good and bad points.
The internet is the most valuable tool in my tool chest. Without the
knowledge shared by the hundreds/thousands of BeenThereDoneThats, I would be
lost. Thanks to all that regularly contribute. (Hey, after this email,
that includes me too!!!)

| Jeff McNeal tried to do something similar, but it seems most Triumph
| enthusiasts (including myself) prefer to use the "lists".

| Malcolm Walker used to maintain a FAQ on the web, not sure what's
happening
| there. Haven't heard from him in a long time.

| It really takes two ingredients to do something like the Honda folk have :
| someone will to spend the time to do it, and everyone else willing to use
| it. Seems like it's easier to find both of those when there are millions
of
| owners around instead of thousands...
|
| It might be too, that many Triumph owners like traditional things ... like
| mail lists ... and Triumphs ... after all, if we all immediately embraced
| the latest and best technology, we'd probably be driving Minis or MR5s or
| even MX5s ...
