Mark, there ore those who have fitted the typical $5 ball valve that is
commonly available from your local supplier of household hardware and
sundries.  This valve not only costs a fraction of that of the original, it
will  likely outlive the rest of the car.  I, for one, will most certainly
consider this option the next time it issue arises.  (of couse there is a 5
point deduction in concous)
