I went to the Historic Races yesterday and TRs fared slightly better. There
were several TR based specials and one actual TR4 entered. The lack of TRs
at these events is not a new thing; unfortunately the TRs don't pass the
"snob appeal" test that is applied to entries. Pictures I took of the race

I just returned from pebble Beach and the Concours D'Elegance. I have
to express my disappointment. 400 cars there and not one Triumph or
even Standard. Its like the family got together and didn't invite the
step children.
In fact unless your into over polished odd ball gargantuans it is not
much of a car show. They did have a display of GT 40s that was
intersting.
