Micky,

Try this for the temp compensators.....remove the plastic cover and turn the 
small hex nut in as far as it will go....this will press the bimetal strip 
against the small plunger and keep it closed so the mixture doesn't lean out at 
idle or, worse yet, cause the idle to fluctuate as the bimetal strip heats 
erratically.
