Okay, just recovered from the rear main seal operation. Got the "beast" back
only a week ago. A couple of days ago, it was difficult to start. Typically,
when it is cold, just needs to pull the choke. Thats not the case. There is
no juice, so to speak. Once I did fire it up, and drove a long distance, and
stopped, it would start, though with a little groaning. Yesterday, made
several little trips around town, 3 miles, in all. Picked up my Mom, to drive
her out to the ranch. Needed to get gas though. Pulled in, filled up.
Turned the ignitation . . . nothing but silence. Found someone at the station
to give the battery a jump. Proceeded to throw caution to the wind, and also
attempt to charge battery, and drove to the ranch, about 30 mile round trip.
The battery is new, bought last November and car stored in a garage).
When the car was in the "Hospital" for the main rear seal, something is not
connected properly, and is draining the battery. Everything worked fine
before I took the car in, in that aspect. On a final note, the car radio, a
simple a.m. worked, before the visit, but does not now.
So what is my current problem? Electrical, not my speciality
